Knowing how to delete or unlink items, locations, and Item IDs helps keep your project accurate, prevents clutter, and ensures your schedules and books reflect the most up-to-date design decisions.
Delete Items
In your item schedule, click the item you want to remove.
Step 2: Select Remove Item from the fly-in panel.
Delete or Unlink Locations
A Location can be removed from the project entirely or unlinked from a specific item.
Delete a Location
Deleting a Location removes it everywhere in the project, including the Rooms view and all placeholders.
To Delete a location, select the vertical ellipses (three dots menu) and choose Delete Location
Unlink a Location
Unlinking keeps the Location as a placeholder in the Rooms view but removes it from the specific item.
In the Rooms view, click the item that is linked to the Location.
Step 2: In the fly-in panel, uncheck the check mark next to the Item ID thumbnail to unlink it.
Delete Item IDs
To delete an Item ID, you must delete or unlink any associated Locations first.
Remove all Locations attached to the Item ID.
Open the Item IDs view.
Click the vertical ellipsis next to the Item ID and select Delete.
