Dependent Items
Dependents are items needed for the installation or function of a primary item. They can be decorative, have their own SKU, and may vary between projects. You can add Dependents directly to an item from the item schedule.
Add a Dependent to an Item
How it works
Step 1: Begin by navigating to an item in your project. (You can access your project items from the Plans, Item Schedules, or Books tab. In this example, we will access our item via the Item IDs view of the Item Schedule.)
Step 2: At the bottom of the fly-in, select Add Spec, Option, or Dependent.
Step 3: Search for the Dependent item using the search bar at the top of the screen and click the blue Select next to your chosen item.
Your Dependent item will now appear at the bottom of your item details.
