Manage Project Settings

Updated over a month ago

Project Settings let you configure suppliers, installers, deadlines, and defaults for each project—all in one place.

How it Works

• Open any project and navigate to the Project Settings tab.

Books Settings

Use the Books tab to configure how your design books are built.

  • Set page settings for your design book canvas.

  • Choose your default design book size for the project.

Deadlines

Track sourcing, design, and procurement timelines with automated countdowns.

  • Open the Deadlines tab to set deadlines by division.

  • A live timer will display throughout the project to help you stay on schedule.

Default Installers

Standardize who installs what across your org.

  • Select Default Installers to assign preferred installers by division.

  • Defaults will automatically apply when building item schedules or installation books.

Default Suppliers

Ensure projects consistently pull from correct sources.

  • Select Default Suppliers to set supplier defaults by division.

  • Helpful for maintaining accuracy in procurement books and supplier coordination.

General Settings

Define how the project behaves at a high level.

  • Choose the default division for the project.

    • Example: If the project focuses heavily on lighting or plumbing, set that division as default.

    • Design firms typically select All.

Units & Increments

  • The Units & Increments tab serves as a placeholder for setting Default Estimates, Measurements and Nudge Increments.

  • Set the default Area and Linear Measuring accuracy.
