Add Item IDs from Plans

An Item ID is a placeholder for a future item or an identifier for an item you’ve already selected. You can create Item IDs directly from the Plans tab to organize selections as you review drawings.

Create an Item ID

How it Works

  1. Go to the Plans tab and select the Item IDs section on the Left Hand Side Menu.

  2. Click the blue + to create a new Item ID.

  3. Choose a Division and Type. (Sub-Type is optional.) Once selected, the Item ID will appear in the list on the left.

  4. To attach an item, click + Add Item inside the Item ID.

  5. In the catalog fly-in panel, search or filter for your item. If View item options appear, make your selections.

  6. Click Select. The item will now appear under the Item ID.
