We start at the main menu. Select “Projects” and click Create Project.

Click Create to enter the project summary page.

[00:33] Navigating Tabs and Creating a Book

Navigate to the Books tab.

Click Create New Book → choose Design Book → click Next.

You’ll now see the theme selector and page layout selector.

Themes and layouts are customizable in the Administrative Console — great for uploading your own branding.

[01:09] Choosing a Template

Select the training template (3-page simple layout).

Name your book — e.g., “Furnishings Book” or “Bedroom Mood Board”.

Click Next to enter the book editor with 3 pages ready.

[01:36] Navigating Pages

Click into a page to edit. Use the left panel or zoom tools to navigate.

Let’s jump into Page 3, which has a room layout with a title and 3 item boxes.

[01:55] Editing the Title

Click the title text box and change it to “Bedroom”.

You can move and resize text freely, like any standard design editor.

[02:23] Left Panel Overview

On the left side, you’ll see tabs for:

  • Rooms

  • Schedule (currently empty)

  • Item IDs

[02:31] Creating Item IDs

Let’s create three furnishings for the bedroom:

  • Select the Furnishings division

  • Then select Bed as the Type

  • You may optionally define a Subtype (e.g., King, Queen), but it’s not required

Repeat this process for:

  • Area Rug

  • Nightstand

Each item now gets an Item ID:

  • Furnished 1

  • Furnished 2

  • Furnished 3

These allow reuse across multiple locations.

[03:39] Attaching Items to Item IDs

Click Select next to the Item ID.

From the modal, choose Add Item → view Recents or Relevance.

You can filter, search by SKU, or select from a family.

Choose an item and click Select to attach it to the Item ID.

[04:45] Repeat for All Items

Add a bed, area rug, and nightstand.

You now have three fully configured item IDs.

Switch back to the book page and drag the item IDs into the item boxes.

[05:22] Configuring the Page

Each box now displays item data (name, type, and optionally attributes).

You can:

  • Edit text

  • Resize the image box

  • Move elements freely

Note: The Item ID badge will not appear in the final client-facing version.

[06:28] Creating the PDF

Click Create PDF. The snackbar will show progress.

Go to the Documents tab to view progress.

Indicators:

  • Orange = Processing

  • Green = Ready

[07:05] Publishing and Sharing

Once ready, click the document to view it.

You can:

  • Publish or unpublish the PDF

  • Share via a direct link

  • Generate a QR code (ideal for jobsite documentation)

Unpublishing disables the link instantly.
