Follow Along and Build With Me
I encourage you to follow along as I build, using the same project information I’ve provided. Don’t worry about critiquing my design choices—I’m the Process Guy, not the designer. I’ll leave the creative decisions to you!
Here’s how to get the most out of this training:
1. Watch the Videos: Pause after each step, complete the step in your project, then continue watching.
2. Use the Step-by-Step Guide: I’ve included a written guide for reference, so you can follow along without my commentary once you’re familiar with the process.
I use a fantastic program called Arcade to create the walkthroughs, making it easy to see exactly what I’m doing at each stage.

Let's focus on the critical first step of any project: establishing a clear plan. Depending on the project, this step may involve working from formal construction plans or simply walking the site and making notes about the project scope. Both approaches are valid, and our platform is designed to accommodate either scenario.
For this training, we’ll use a set of construction plans as a guide and focus on planning for a new build. However, the principles I cover apply just as effectively to projects without formal plans.
One important note: while I’ll follow a structured workflow in this training, the platform is built to be flexible. You can start wherever it makes sense for you—whether that’s defining structural elements, creating mood boards, or jumping straight into the shopping list (the Schedule Structure). Personally, I prefer starting with a shopping list because it helps anchor the project, but remember, you're the expert.

Plan Storage: No need to keep plans in your documents folder. You now have the ability to store them right at the project, for everyone to access.
Plan Management: Removing or hiding pages we just don't need so we can focus on what's important.
Plan Sharing: The whole team can easily access the project plans.
Team Collaboration: Rather than working alone on our computer using outdated applications, collaborate as a team and work together.
