Working with the Schedule

Item Lists, Comments, RFIs, and Schedule Exports.

Updated today

In addition to all of the elements of a schedule that are available to you, the following features will allow you to collaborate seamlessly as the schedule evolves:

  • Lists

  • Comments & RFIs (Requests for Information)

  • Exporting the schedule

Working with Lists

List: A List is a grouping of items that can be organized by a certain style or scheme, or even a particular development or neighborhood. Designers can create their own private lists or create org lists for use by anyone in the organization. Each project also has a list automatically being created being the scenes as items are being selected.

Comments and RFIs (Requests for Information)

Communicate with other project stakeholders in real time by using comments or submitting RFIs.

Exporting the Schedule

Export the schedule by creating a schedule book, or by exporting to a csv or excel file directly from the schedules tab. Once you have exported a book, you can generate a link or QR code, or simply download the PDF, simply by navigating to your 'Documents' tab.

Keep in mind you can also export a procurement book to send to your supplier, or an installation book for the installers or sub-contractors.

When working in the Design.efficiently platform, you can begin with your schedule or your design presentation (design book) first. If you begin with the schedule, the design book can quickly be populated simply by dragging and dropping items from the schedule into your book pages.

If you begin with your design book, your schedule is being created for you in the background. All you will need to do is add locations.

Next, we'll do a deeper dive in the design presentation component of the platform.
