Create an Installation Book

Installation Books contain documentation for all items that are relevant to an individual installer for the project. To create an installation book, follow the steps below:

Step 1: Navigate to the Books tab and click Create new book.

Step 2: Select Installation Book from the dialog box that appears, and click Next.

Step 3: The Installation Book will contain only the Installers that you have added to the project as options. Choose the installer and click Next.

Note: Installation Books can only be created for one installer at a time.

Step 3: Deselect anything you do not want included in your Installation Book, name the book, and click Create.

Note: If you would like to set a specific cover page for the installation book, you can do so by selecting from the Cover drop down.

Step 4: Your new book will appear in your list of books, and can be converted to PDF by selecting the vertical ellipsis at the right of that line item and choosing Create PDF.

Step 5: Once your Book has processed, it will appear in your Documents tab at the top of your screen. From here you will be able to download, or grab a link or QR code for that document (see the article on Creating a Link or QR Code).
