Adding design selection images and their accompanying details is very time consuming. In the design.efficiently platform, you can add all of the information associated with an Item (or design selection) quickly and easily. To add items to a design book, follow the steps below:

Step 1: Navigate to a page in your Design Book (for more info on creating a Design Book, refer to Create a Design Book).

Step 2: In your panel on the left, select the Item IDs tab. Click the blue '+' to add an item ID to the project.

Step 3: Choose the Division first, followed by the Type from the menus that appear. You do not need to select a Sub-Type (the 3rd menu that appears) unless you know it (see Division, Type & Sub-type for more information).

Step 4: An item ID (LG-02) will now appear in your schedule view on the left hand side. Click the +Add Item button within that item ID to add an item, and select from the catalog (refer to The Catalog Tab: Overview for more on searching the catalog).

Step 5: Click the Add Item button that appears on the fly-in.

Step 6: Choose from the search filter options on the right (we recommend Recents if you would like to search something you have already viewed in the project, or Relevant if you want to search the full catalog).

Step 7: Utilize the filters on the left to refine your search, and select your desired item by clicking the blue Select button. It will now appear in your schedule view on the left hand side of your design book.

Note: If an item has a blue View item options button, click the button to choose the configuration of that item you would like, and then click Select.

Step 8: Once your item ID and associated item have been added, it is now officially on your schedule and will now be available to pull into the book from the left hand side.
