Adding Items and its description is very time consuming. In Design .efficiently you can add Project Finishes along with the Product finish description very quickly. To add the Project finish, follow the steps below.

Step 1: Navigate to the Books tab and click to open a Design Book. For more info on creating a Design Book, refer to Create a Design Book.

Step 2: Click into an existing page, or add a new page either by hovering over the space between 2 pages and clicking the '+', or by clicking the blue New page button at the top of your screen.

Step 3: In your panel on the left, the Item IDs tab will be automatically selected. Click the blue '+' to add an Item ID.

Step 4: Choose the Division first, followed by the Type from the menus that appear. You do not need to select a Sub-Type (the 3rd menu that appears) unless you know it. See Division, Type & Sub-type.

Step 5: An Item ID (FN-32) will now appear in your panel on the left. Click the +Add Item button within that Item ID to add an Item, and select from the Catalog. Refer to The Catalog Tab: Overview for more on Searching the Catalog.

Step 6: Select your desired Item by clicking the blue Select button. It will now appear in the panel on the left.

Note: Once your Item ID and Item have been added, it will now be available to pull into the Design Book, and will also appear in your Schedule.
