To draw lines and shapes on a page in a Design Book, follow the steps below.

Drawing Lines

Step 1: Navigate to a page in your Design Book and select the line tool from the menu bar on the right.

Step 2: Click the starting point for your line on the canvas, pull your line to where you would like it to end and click again.

Note:

Press shift to draw a straight line.

Step 3: With your line selected, choose from any of the options in the toolbar at the top to make further edits to your line, such as color, thickness, or adding end caps.

Drawing Shapes

Step 1: Select the Rectangle tool from the menu bar on the right. If you would like an Ellipse (Circle) or a Polygon, click into the small triangle in the bottom left corner of that Rectangle tool and choose from the pop-up menu.

Step 2: Click the starting point for your shape on the canvas, pull your shape to where you would like it to end and click again.

Note:

  • Press shift to draw a perfect square or circle (as opposed to a rectangle or ellipse).

Step 3: With your shape selected, choose from any of the options in the toolbar at the top to make further edits to your shape, such as color, border, or adding a drop shadow.
