Creating and saving Location templates within the schedule, allows users to quickly build out the framework for future project schedules without starting from scratch.
In order to create a template, first follow the steps to create Rooms, Spaces, and Locations in your schedule. See Adding Rooms, Spaces, & Locations.
Once you have a schedule structure built out, you will be able to save that structure as a template, by the individual Room/Space (for example, you may have 'Kitchen - Breakfast Nook' saved as a template). This will allow you to apply that template to other similar Room/Spaces within the same project or another project within your org.
To create and save templates to use for your project schedules, follow the steps below:
Step 1: Navigate to the Rooms view of your schedule. Click the Save as Template button above the Room/Space you wish to save as a template.
Step 2: Name your template and click Save.
Step 3: To add the template to another Room/Space that does not yet contain Locations, click the Add Template button above that Room/Space.
Step 4: Your template will appear in your list of created templates on the left hand side of the pop up. You will have the option to tick or untick any boxes next to Locations you do not want loaded in. Click Add.
Your Room/Space will now appear with the loaded template of Locations.
